Useful Studio: turn your app screenshots into a 15 second reel on your Mac
1 line in Claude Code, a finished vertical video out
👋 Hey, it's Raja
If you have an app, a side hustle or a small business, you've probably posted a plain screenshot and watched it get 11 views. A 15 second reel gets seen far more, but making one takes hours in an editor.
I built Useful Studio to remove that step. It runs inside Claude Code on your Mac. You type 1 line and it hands you a finished vertical video.

🎬 What goes in and what comes out
Your screenshots sit inside device frames. The hook lands in the first second and the reel loops cleanly. There are no AI images, so nothing in it looks off.
🧐 It checks its own work
Before you see a video, a built-in critic scores it from 1 to 10 on 7 things:
- Hook
- Readability
- Motion
- Pace
- Composition
- Brand
- Sound
It fixes the weakest scores and tries again until every score is 8 or more.
💻 What you need
- A Mac on macOS 14 or later.
- Claude Code on a paid Claude plan.
- About 5 minutes for setup. The guide tells you exactly what to type.
There is no API key, no monthly fee and no watermark. Everything runs on your Mac.
Don't use Claude Code yet? Skip this one. If you do, the page has all 11 videos it made, each from 1 command with no hand edits.
If you make something with it, reply and send it to me.

Raja
