You need a Canva account to download it and a Canva premium plan for the AI tools, and Pixelmator Pro is the no-account alternative at $49.99 once.

You design graphics or edit photos seriously and want to stop paying Adobe every month.
Skip it if
You only crop and brighten photos, which the built-in Photos app does without an account.
