Link Unshortener
Shows where a short link really goes before you open it
The verdict
Hand a bit.ly, t.co or other short link to Link Unshortener and it follows every redirect to show you the real address before your browser goes anywhere. It sends no cookies and stores nothing while it checks, then strips tracking codes and either opens the clean link in the browser you pick or copies it. You can also make it your default browser, so every link passes through it first.
Get it if
You get texts and emails with short links and want to see the real site before you tap.
Skip it if
You almost never click shortened links, so there is rarely anything to expand.

What changed
Version 21.3
Switched the default spoofed User-Agent from Chrome to Safari. This helps to avoid false positive bot detection on some sites such as Techdirt that returned HTTP 403 Forbidden. · Fixed a bug in Trackers Settings where the list was no longer filtered by the search field after deleting a parameter from the list.
