Refolder
Sorts Downloads and Desktop folders as files arrive
MacFree to start
The verdict
Downloads is where Mac files go to be forgotten. Refolder watches it, or your Desktop or any other folder, suggests where each new file belongs and moves it once you approve, or sorts quietly in the background if you let it. It also batch renames files without Terminal. It is a young MacPaw app on Setapp only, and one Setapp reviewer called it very slow on an M1 iMac.
Get it if
You have hundreds of unsorted files in Downloads and never find time to clean it up.
Skip it if
