Smooth Recorder
Screen recordings with auto-zoom and captions built in
The verdict
Screen Studio costs $9 to $29 a month for polished demos, and Smooth Recorder does the same auto-zoom on your clicks and smooth cursor for a one-time price. It also writes captions on your Mac, cuts video when you delete words from the transcript, strips filler words, and takes screenshots and scrolling captures. It is new and still in early access, and the price jumps from $19 to $69 once the early slots are gone.

You record product demos or tutorials and want them to look edited without opening an editor.
Skip it if
You record a quick clip once in a while, which the Mac's Shift-Command-5 tool handles.
