Vocena
Live captions and translation for anything on your Mac
The verdict
Vocena floats live captions over whatever is playing on your Mac or coming through the mic, and can put a translation under each line as it is spoken. Its AI keys explain a term you missed in a lecture, list who owes what when a meeting ends or suggest a reply in a language you don't speak. Captions are free with no time limit, and translation costs $29.99 once at launch.
Get it if
You sit through lectures, calls or videos in another language and want a translation under every line as it's spoken.

You need it on your iPhone today, where Vocena is still a TestFlight beta and asks you to sign in to an account.
