Control My Mac
Use your iPhone as a trackpad and shortcut deck for Mac
The verdict
Scan a QR code and your iPhone or iPad becomes a trackpad, keyboard and grid of one-tap shortcuts for your Mac, with a separate grid that switches in for each app in front. It is handy for movie nights, slideshows or editing from the couch, and works over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth with no account. Per-app grids and the launcher need Full App, and current versions need an Apple silicon Mac.
Get it if
You present from a Mac or watch movies on it from across the room.
Skip it if
You sit at your desk all day, where the real keyboard and trackpad are already within reach.
