Lasso
Drag across a grid to size and place any window
The verdict
Snap-to-half tools fall short when you want an odd size, like a narrow strip down the side of a wide monitor. Press a hotkey and Lasso shows a grid, so you drag across the cells to set the window's exact size and spot, and save layouts to their own shortcuts. It costs $10.99 once for 1 Mac, but the free Rectangle already covers halves, thirds and corners.
Get it if
You run a big or ultrawide monitor and want custom window sizes beyond halves and thirds.
Skip it if
You only put windows side by side, which macOS tiling or the free Rectangle already does.
