If you want most of CleanShot X without paying $35, this 2.4 MB screenshot app opens every capture in an editor for arrows, pixel measuring, color picking and copying text out of the image. It also captures scrolling pages and pins shots above other windows. Personal use stays free with an occasional nudge after 30 days, but commercial use needs the $12 Basic license.
Get it if
You take screenshots all day for docs or bug reports and want text grabbing and a pixel ruler built in.
Skip it if
You take a screenshot now and then, and Shift-Command-5 is already on your Mac for the basics.
